                              Transept Choir

                              Picture
The Transept Choir provides anthems and supports congregational singing for Sunday morning services and special Liturgical services.   This choir is open to singers of high school age through adult and performs traditional and classic  SATB choral music, both accompanied by organ/piano, and “a capella”.  New singers are always welcome and we encourage college students and those who are not members of Union -- from the community -- who enjoy singing traditional, classic choral music to  join us. Requirements are:  The ability to sing in-tune and a willingness to rehearse regularly.  The ability to read music is always helpful, but not necessary.  The choir rehearses each Thursday evening from 7:30 - 9:00pm. Please contact our Director of Music, Jennifer Noel if you are interested in being apart of the Ministry of Music here at Union.

Each Sunday the children of the church meet with Mrs. Julie Matthews Salvo to enjoy singing their favorite Bible and Sunday School songs.  The children sing for worship on an occasional basis.  They meet together for singing during the last few minutes of the Sunday School hour each week.
