Holy Week and Easter @ Union 2025

We welcome and invite you to worship online and/or in person this Holy Week and Easter. 

Palm/Passion Sunday, April 13, 9:30 a.m.

• We'll begin on the front steps (weather permitting) hear the story of Jesus' great procession into Jerusalem, sing, bless, and wave our palms as we process into the sanctuary.
• Once we enter the nave, our worship service shifts from the triumphant procession to the Passion of Jesus according to the Gospel of Mark.  

Maundy Thursday, April 17

• 11:30 a.m. in the accessible Auditorium. Join us as we gather mid-day for an abbreviated spoken Maundy Thursday service with Holy Communion. 
• 7 p.m. Join us either in the Sanctuary or through our livestream for our full Maundy Thursday worship service with Holy Communion.  Maundy Thursday reflects not only on the Last Supper, but even more on Jesus command to love and serve our neighbors. 

 
Good Friday, April 18

• 11:30 a.m. in the Auditorium. Join us as we gather mid-day for an abbreviated spoken Good Friday service. 
• 7 p.m. Join us either in the Sanctuary or through our livestream as we reflect upon and celebrate Christ's victory on the cross in the service of Light and Darkness.  

Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 19, 8 p.m.

• Join us on our Market street steps where we will begin our Easter Vigil.  The Easter Vigils along the history of God's work of Salvation, beginning in darkness and ending with the triumphant announcement of Christ's resurrection.  This service typically takes around 90-100 minutes. 

Easter Day—The Resurrection of our Lord, April 20, 9:30 a.m.

• Join us in the Sanctuary or on Livestream as we celebrate the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ! All children will received a potted flower to take home.

Celebrating God’s victory over sin and death. Christ is Risen!  Alleluia!
